Emma Lay - Therapist

Emma believes passionately that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and achieve positive mental well being. She believes that this can be aided by providing a safe space in which young peoples’ voices can be heard and where support can be given without judgement.

"I am aware of the increasing pressures life places upon our young people and am dedicated to providing support to those in need. I feel privileged to walk along side young people as they embark on their journey and to be able to provide support whilst they work towards gaining more control of their lives and increasing their confidence and self esteem"

Emma has a calm gentle manner and brings an equal balance of heartfelt person centred skills, alongside rational problem solving strategies to her work.

Emma works within the guidelines for ethical practice and equal opportunities as recommended by The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is fully insured, with a current DBS certificate.
