Elizabeth Cox - CBT (Cognitive Behavioural) Therapist

Elizabeth has over ten years experience within a wide range of settings including: NHS, Schools, Colleges, Prison Service, Priory Hospital and in Private Practice.

As an integrative therapist Elizabeth will use the most appropriate approach (Person-Centred, CBT or Mindfulness) to address the current problems (i.e. Anxiety - not able to socialise with friends) while working towards goals which are agreed upon collaboratively (i.e. meet a friend for coffee).

Whatever theoretical approach is being used Elizabeth believes that the relationship with the therapist is the key foundation to enable good quality work to be achieved from both parties.

Elizabeth works with all presentations including complex cases involving trauma. She has a special interest in addiction and rehabilitation in adults, (18+).

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single, step. Your journey on the road to recovery also needs to begin with single, small steps.”
